Hello! I’m Dustin, just a regular dude from the US residing in the great state of South Dakota. I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, and learning about other countries and cultures. 

In 2019 I went on a 6-month backpacking trip through SE Asia and parts of Europe. Along the way, I made friends from around the world, had unique experiences, and gained a greater appreciation for the world I live in. That trip sparked my curiosity, and I started this blog to share some of my experiences.

When I’m not traveling, you can typically find me hiking in the Black Hills. It’s a place I grew up in but didn’t truly experience all it had to offer until I moved back as an adult.
